Students and pupils representing different primary and secondary schools on Wednesday, 17 March, 2010, showcased their potential in a thrilling and exciting manner at a quiz organised by Golf Educational Service and Print.
The quiz, which was held at Abiolu Schools Hall, Igando-Ikotun, Lagos, is aimed at developing and raising the standard of education through awareness, exposure, challenges and friendship.
During the competition, which theme was Prove Your Academic Standard, eight primary and secondary schools were paraded, during which Landmark Group of Schools emerged first position at the secondary category. First runner-up and second runner-up went to Anointed Prince and Princess School and Adiolu Group of Schools respectively.
For the primary category, Landmark Group of Schools emerged first, while Madech Nursery and Primary School and Bofat Private School emerged first and second runner-up respectively.
The event, which lasted several hours, also witnessed the presentation of recognition award to notable personalities, while the winners were also rewarded handsomely.
