JAMB Sanctions More Varsities

The axe of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board [JAMB], has descended on more institutions, particularly in the Eastern part of the country.

Though universities like the Imo State University (IMSU) and Abia State University (ABSU) called off their strike before the Christmas break, they didn’t escape the wrath of JAMB as the examination board has exclude their names from its 2011/2012 admission exercise.

They were excluded from the admission  exercise  due to the   six-month strike  they embarked upon. As a result of this, the affected universities will not admit students in 2012.
