Lagos State Polytechnic chapter of Muslim Students’ Association of Nigeria (MSAN), has ended its annual Da’wah Week with a luncheon and an alumni re-union on Sunday, 25 July, at the Ansar-Ud-Deen College Hall, Isolo, Lagos State, South West Nigeria.
Tagged The Ummah Once Known, the week-long event, which started on 16 July 2010, aimed at imparting knowledge in the students.
At the event which hosted about 150 guests, the maiden edition of the school’s magazine Standard Bearers, was also launched.
Chairman of the occasion, who was also the first General Secretary of LASPOTECH Muslim Alumni (LASPOMA), Alhaji Raji, urged the students to dedicate time to their studies and actively participate in all activities by Muslim student societies on campus as they serves as training grounds for them.
President of the students’ group, Mallam Dhikrullah Ghazali, thanked the guests and the students for their support and cooperation towards the success of the programme, while charging them not to relent in the quest for better education system in Nigeria.
