The need for government at all levels to give Nigerian youth a better and quality education was the main thrust of this year's Youth Conference organised by the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria, Lagos State Area Unit.
Speaking on the theme, Youth: Tools for Societal Reformation, the Vice President of the Society, Iganmu Coker Area Council, Mr. Sharafadeen Abubakar, said no nation can prosper without proper care for its youths, stressing that they (the youths) are instrument for societal reformation.
He, therefore, urged President Goodluck Jonathan and the new Minister of Education to support the course of the youth and improve the standard of education.
The programme, held at Aguda Grammar School, has in attendance students from various secondary schools across the area council.
Some of the students presented paper on topics like Examination Malpractices: Its Effects on Youth and Youth Development: Whose duties, among others.
During the event, the students also learnt tie and dye and other vocational skills
